Snow Day!

We are getting some serious snow today- I'm pretty sure they're classifying it as a blizzard. It started snowing last night by 7:00pm and is still coming down strong at 1:00pm. We bundled up Jackson in his snowsuit and took him out this morning. He wasn't too sure about it but then started smiling and laughing when we walked/ran him through the snow and let him try to eat some. I'm pretty sure most of his uneasiness was due to the fact that the snowsuit restricts his movements- which is really cute.
Here's a glimpse of our day so far:

a homemade project I did last night made out of receiving blankets to keep him from chewing on his crib rails. he moved on to chewing the side rails since the front one is covered with the protector we bought. so far they're working better than the store bought ones.
