But we made him wait. And while he waited, he sat in his rocking chair...and played with some toys.
We carved some pumpkins and hung out around the house for a while...
Then it was finally time to put on the costume and go take some pictures!
Jackson loves his costume and wanted to wear it all day but we wouldn't let him because he would have drooled all over it in about 10 minutes.
After taking some pictures, we came home to hand out some candy. Jackson was definitely the cutest out of everyone we saw, though there was a boy dressed as a mailman that was quite adorable. We ran out of candy pretty quick which worked out perfectly so we could go to Chipotle for some free booritos and visit friends.
