one tired boy

Jackson is sound asleep in his crib and he will sleep hard tonight. He was so excited all day for the fun things we had to do, that he was hardly able to take his naps. The morning was filled with errands, as they always are on the days we have Young Life club. We went to Produce Junction to pick out some pumpkins- one for us and one for pumpkin bowling at YL club. We also stopped by the grocery and the dollar store for supplies for our dinner and club. A tired boy ordered us home for a quick nap (not our choice that it was quick but his) and then we were off for a trip to Johnson's Farm for some apple cider donuts and to take a few fall pictures. Not quite sure of what they were, Jackson liked the little pumpkins, but was not too keen on the big pumpkins. Or maybe he was just tired and not in the mood to get his picture taken. Anyways, we ended up with some delicious fresh donuts and some cute pictures. Tonight was Young Life Costume Club and Jackson won the best costume contest. (I'm saving costume pictures for Halloween- but believe me, he was adorable!) It was a late night for him but he had a lot of fun singing songs and laughing with the high schoolers.
